I've made a picnic basket
With champagne just for two
Here we lay upon the hillside
And admire the stunning view

We inhale the salty air
And view the ocean down below
The clouds drift by so slowly
As the tides ebb and flow

A seagull glides by gracefully
As he heads on out to sea
This day is picture perfect
I feel much love surrounding me

So much beauty all around us
The Summer sun warms our skin
In just a matter of time
Our sweet loving will begin

And when the day has ended
Just as the moon comes into view
We'll succumb to our desires
And I'll lose myself in you

* * * *

"When I'm falling in love
no safety net is required."

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

...and I lost myself in your words...
You write of romance with such sweetness and grace.

Sue this makes the second of your poems that I really enjoyed.  Here's a bump and a well deserved bump.  I hope it helps.  God bless you - Tim

Sue,
ps is right. Gotta love a romantic! Here's my vote for another good write.
