Window panes come crashing down
Amidst the tears and pain
Vanishing hopes are gone and flew away
Up above through twilight
Shadows cast across the floor
Reflections of the past
Trembling thoughts of one
Dwelling deep within the soul
A mystical sense of reality
Captured by the craze
All in bewilderment
Of the shock in the wave
Creatures of the dimness
Chattering amongst the green
Everything slows in stillness
What is this we see????

Though a sad reality, still I think that your poem will be a nice tribute to the recent terror attacks. Very descriptive poetry that like the actual events of terror leaves some very strong mind imagages to ponder. A vote from me.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Bridgette, I agree wholeheartedly with Robert, dearest friend, this would be a perfect hug for all those victimized by 9/11 and by this war in the Middle East and I pray everyone worldwide can find that light of hope and security through the smoky bewilderment! (sad sigh) I send extra warm angel hugs and my sympathetic vote your way, dearest friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bridgette, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Justbleu...this is very cool...somewhat haunting.
I enjoyed the read.

Powerfully sad words my friend.  And yet it provides a moving tribute to those whose lives are laid waste in the senselessness of terror.  Truly an artist's view.  Well done.

So many images are conjured with this clever surreal write...
could be read as storms or tornado or as others have said, war or attack...
haunting and vivid poetess Bleu,
well done.

Bridgette,
Yup, this makes you think and reflect. Voting now. Nice.

This is different, and good. I like the sounds in the poem, and the scenes.

I'm thinking about your last question!

This was thought provoking,
bewildering, in a good way!
