Strolling passively under shadow; darkened, tree-line trail walked worn and stark. Pleasant reception to the breeze, swift and cool, a cleansing of spirit, my stress becomes eased. Desiring no end to this rare interlude, I embrace the night sounds, my ear strains to include a faint, lightsome call of the young meadow lark. |
