Life’s Journey

Distant geography
Different topography
And yet…
The same highs and lows
One minute laughter
The next one disaster
What follows there after?
Nobody knows
For every peak reached
There’s a valley below
For each distance traveled
There’s still more to go
Whenever we think that
The end has been reached
Another path opens…
Another wall breached
So it begins…
And so shall it end…
The high ground is often
To hard to defend
Each valley traversed
Each river crossed
Leads to a point
Where all is not lost
Life is a journey
With death but one end
Have you learned your lesson?
Keep traveling, my friend…

(big hugggsssssss) Thee really is no end to lifes journey, and I think it takes time for everyone to understand that as we truly are the center of so much beauty and all roads to the heart lead there, but you have to wonder that you could have been there all along! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderfully introspetive, sweet friend, you have my valiant vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tammy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Yes, there certainly are many lessons to learn in one's life's journey. A poem rich in meaning--and wisdom...

Tammy - I've traveled for a long time and perhaps have slowed down some, I hope. I voted for this poem, it does have a lot to say...

Hello Tammy.

The journey is worth nothing
if we don't learn from it.

Well penned.

Life can be a series of failures or lessons and triumphs...it's all in what you make of it.  Great job in portraying life!

Wow! I loved this poem.

Sometimes we have to follow a stronger voice, even if it's silent.
