Two years seems like fifty
Even the settled dust
vies for the time
between grey temples
and illusionist dreams

Memories upon the heart
cling to the mind
Like dew to grass
While scattered chronologies
confuse the year,
the hour,
and the day

Where did we go?
And where have I been?
Scattered amongst the many feelings
drifting with the wind
Shall the day pass tonight
without a mere thought?

Perhaps a different dawn
A crystal shadow to beckon
to an unforgiving scar,
Will one day capture the wind
Explain these feelings
in a whisper

Should another pebble
Be cast upon a frozen pond
Church bells ring once again
at five o'clock
in a small town
Where time has no limit
Days pass without a glance...into tomorrow
You shall discover me there
Still standing, frozen in place
as if...I never left

(big hugggsssssss) This is beautifully bittersweet, dearest friend, I hope all is alright as in love nothing ever relocates and the heart is always that reservoir where all the memories and smiles are collectively immersed! (sigh) This earns my vote, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Dennis, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I don't even know what to say to this... but I am definitely going to be reading this several more times.

Very moving. The longing and loneliness almost palpable.

May your hurtling heart soon heal completely...
