Never Goodbye I lament a dove that flew away She left a rhyme a verse to stay. Wrapped in starlights delicate thread On my pillow next to my head. It said goodbye and did not know Goodbye could eclipse a rainbow In misty mist and teary seem In colors of her hopes and dream. And as I read it made me sigh. Her misinterpret of goodbye Dissolving of the rainbows bright Disappearing from her sight. She said the shadows would remain The glow would always haunt, sustain And she would listen each new morrow Winds that carry yesterdays borrow. I sorrow in the deepest gloom The passage of the rainbows bloom. There's nothing that I would not give To touch our moment in relive. The door to my soul is ajar And soul to soul is never far.
