Hope
By Paul Wilson

Roads traveled thru life long and far
They have brought you to where you are

Hope is always your guiding star

You’ve shared so much over the years
All the joy and all of your tears

Hope has helped you conquer your fears

Together your love remains strong
Time spent apart always too long

Hope will always be your love song

Each day a memory to keep
Life’s greatest rewards you will reap

Hope will dry the tears that you weep

Sharing all of your plans and dreams
Together you will cross life’s streams

Hope lighting your way like moon beams

Hope will walk with you down memories lane
Hope will always be near to ease your pain
Hope in your heart will forever remain
Hope and friends come together in your refrain

"To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you"

Paul, that is a very distinguised photo! You definitely look the part of a poet!

This "H" word leads to another "H" word--happy! Wonderfully up-lifting poem!

Yeah, hope's all that.  It can be a real nice thing to have, even if it's a bit wobbly at times.  Nicely scribed, Mr. Wilson.

Paul, I stopped in briefly this morning and your poem was the first one I read. Your words have helped changed my whole perspective and I shall carry them with me as I head off shortly to the doctors to get all my test results.

God sent me an angel this morning and his name is Paul Wilson. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Personally, I really think this poem goes way beyond just being in a book... To me, this poem has the appearance and has the wording of those classic poems that people hang in their homes to look at time and time again to gain motivation and encouragement. We all need, so very much, to be reminded about having "Hope" each day that we live. (Amen) Thank you for sharing your poem and for requesting that it be placed in the book. I think that it will make a wonderful addition. God Bless.

Bob... Your kind words have amazed me. For you too think that it belongs in peoples homes to remind them  of motivation and encouragement is more praise than I deserve.
I really thank you sir for all you have said.
Bless you...Paul

Well stated, Paul. Yes, all of the roads we have taken have brought us to where we are and, although some of the roads may have been rough to travel, if we like where we are now, it was all worth it.

Keep the faith....
