Rush

Everyday... is like a rush
Of water... flowing... toward the ocean,
Flowing toward... the same destiny-
Death... and eternity.

To some... this is a dead sea,
Life is all... but a storm...
Of weather and there is no more.
To some... this is a living pool,
Life is all... but a bless...
From God and we hereafter with Him.

Some... rush through the wave without much...
Of enjoy and thankfulness.
Some... flow too slow in the stream
And miss out... the joy of slide.

Some... try to reverse... the current...
(But take a guess, what happens?)
They do not succeed much...
For life is about acceptance.
Some... face the weather far too gray
And miss out joy of life...

We are... all living... in this blue ocean.
We are... all pulling... and pushing...
one another side by side...
We have... our choice... of choosing... our life.
We have... the same... destination...
Toward the Lord.

Maybe I am not praying...but I know...
You are always listening...to my soul...

Well done! Nice metaphor and imagery. It's so good to read your posts again.

minor error:
"They do not success much... "
That should be succeed, not success.

Well this really is something different.  The way you wrote it, with the stretching ellipses, really caught my eye.  A compelling poem about fate and destiny.  Nicely done.

Of course I love the spiritual content of your poem. Beyond the spiritual, I also enjoyed your analogy of the masses of people all swimming in different direction only to end up, as is my belief also, in the presence of the Lord. Very nice poem and so glad to have had the opportunity to read it.

This one gets my vote as well. As for preference? Both different, different visuals I couldn't honestly make a choice, would depend on my mood when I read them. What a really good writer you are.
