Happy Valentine's Day to All

We share a glorious rainbow, you and I…
A hued embrace o’er misted countryside,
Resplendent in its span of sun-drenched sky,
Ends touching down in common shades’ abide.
The secret of the spectrum dwells within
Its vibrant arch entwining heartfelt bond.
In-finite tincture’s blend since time’s begin,
Traversing tempest ever and beyond.
Whenever showers cast in future’s hold
A ray of sun shall touch them each to each
Chromatic streams beheld in lustrous gold
Enjoining outstretched hands within its reach

I hold one golden rainbow’s end in mine
The other clasped eternally in thine

Nan,

This is gorgeous and I can only say you have displayed again your poetic talents which we see too rarely. I asked for a love sonnet and got a masterpiece.  You are amazing!

And Noah has outdone himself , if that is possible with his oustanding reponses.

Standing ovations for both of you.

Valentine hugs,
Liz

I love this, Nan!
I'm with Liz...we see way too little of your
poetry these days, but when we do, it's a treat.
This is beautiful, both in words and meaning.
Happy Valentine's Day, friend.
Hugs,
~Vicky

Ah now lighthouses and tulips are my two favorite things together, next to ice cream and chocolate of course     What a splendiferous sonnet but then why would it not be?
Happy Valentine's Day Nan!
