Stranded

Hold of the white
overpowering the day's gift.
Chanting "Let it... let it...

Cold of the night
breathing frost through one's sigh,
challenging the wait
while alone in the crowd she will be.

In hand the empty held,
pictureless, voiceless
wrapped in its pretty
for no one to see.

Time will have no end,
as eyes stare blankly
at the movement before them,
closing to soften the ache.

"Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less."
(Will Moss)
