On any other day a memory of you passes silently On any other day your image fades a flicker flame But not this one once more devoured by the drama of you A forked tongue behind honeyed lips my sweet defeat Arms that held in subtle squeeze of life and spirit Those perfect lips and Judas kiss I layed upon them I knew betrayal and I left you with them not me On any other day, I could forget but on not this one |
