Standing
still, I am here
always waiting, wond'ring
why my tomorrows never come
this way

If  you fill up the stillness, your tomorrows will appear when you least expect them.
Remember, a watched pot never boils!

This was a very poetic and poignant piece of writing!

Warm hugs,
Linda

Stillness
Be motionless
Without shaking laughter
Without sobs that motion shatter
Still be

Moving
Part of being
Confine behind shed tears
Flowing freely at the thought of fears
Be still

I often wonder why my tomorrows never come either. But, I won't give up. I will just continue on each and everyday. Like Linda said, when I least expect it, that tomorrow will be here. Just not soon enough. LOL!

In the stillness we become seers ... the Now already holds your tomorrows, if you let go of the "waiting" ...

Is this a lament of regrets or longings?  Both?  It's beautifully touching and sad.

Enjoyed this alot. Much impact for a short piece.

Today is yesterday's tomorrow... A weird thought.. but it seems today can never quite be yesterday.

Always, Alyssa

Thank you all, I have never really been too patient when it comes to matters of the heart.
