Oh for the fairest lips
to ever form words so sweet
ring as music to the deaf ear
to taste such lips
would make all men drunk
or remove all hope of sanity
reducing them
to sad poetic fools.
Such a fool am I
to have tasted
those messengers of grace
and forced now to be alone
left to my babbling
and remembering
oh for the fairest lips.

Oh, how sad...

Writing our woes in poem
A fool does not make
Our writing
Is for salvation, sanities sake

Beautiful poem filled with such longing for a lost love...
Much enjoyed the read.
