A Thumb to Plumb

The time has come to place my thumb.
Besides my mind and pull a plum.
By that I mean a pleasant deem.
Perhaps a fantasy or dream

It takes but a moment’s time.
To act upon a pleasant rhyme
To set myself upon a stage
And be a phantom of engage.

To set a wile of old to visit
To act upon prerequisite
But there are dream and dreams you know
And I’m not sure I want it so.

There’s danger in a mind to sham
And film flam can side track a scam
You may release the ghost of bad
And wind up in a dream of sad.

So if your mind provides a plumb
Check your figures and the sum.

(sigh) This had that song by the Rolling Stones, "Under My Thumb" reeling through my mind reading this, the best things are those to reach for and to keep them grasped can suffocate the when it always helps to just let them be free around you! (big hugggsssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I think I need another spot of tea..
Had a hard time curling these words round my tongue this ayem.
Perhaps if I don't read them aloud it may help..
Excellent write and much enjoyed..

When adding the sum of your wisdom rhymes ...
I hear the hum born in shifting sands of time.
The answers will be found in your profound poets mind ...
which is why I read you with these eyes born blind.

Two plus two may not always add up to four ...
but I can always count on you to know the score.

hehehehe an adorable little ditty, especially the last two lines...I do think you want "flim-flam" rather than "film-flam," though.

Good morning Mr. T.!

Little Sy Horner
Sat in a corner
Writing poetry plums,
He'd write all day
With lots to say
And our heartstrings
He would strum!

Sending lovin' spoonfuls of valentine plum pudding!

Several answers to your question (Why is an angel here on Earth) are in my poem  "The Suns Are Now Rising"...

I hope that will explain my reason for being here! tehe
