I wish you find it waiting here. I want to mend your heart bereft. Cease your trembling, calm your fear. Always always, I am yours... I'll be your breeze, eternal sea, I'll hold each key, for all locked doors... for every heartbeat evermore, my heart beats thrice, I'll love you more... and everytime you wonder when, I'll keep you close, I'll be your friend... and every time you back away, I'll let you go, and wish you stay... every tear that you might cry, I'll kiss away till eyes run dry... and if God's mercy you might need, then God will find me on my knees... that colors sky, wistful in release of sigh, you are the green that paints the leaves, you are the you that sings in me... you are golden in the sun, and silver moon as day is done... twinkling starshine down from sky answer to the question, why... when this day is through, you're not alone--- I am with you. |

Karen, In my humble opinion, this is the coolest thing I've ever read from you! This is so awesome. Can I pretend you wrote it for me? Huh, can I? Wow! Lyra will just go crazy for this. Oh that's right, she's already crazy!  (not really) Lyra, can you tell how loved you are? Way cool...can I ditto this? Thanks.  If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Thanks all, although at the time I wrote this I don't believe it was written specifically with any one person in mind. I reposted this one several times--for different friends, for different reasons. It just seems to sum up how I feel for my friends when they are in need. and Nan? Yes...please include this. Lyra is in my thoughts daily and I'd like her to know that. and funny, but if any of you managed the link--the music, "you've got a friend" written by Carole King is one of my favorites. Although I saw her in an interview once, and she stated that she hated to see her name as given credit for authorship, because, she believed that the song was not written by her, but through her. I kinda understand that. thanks all, with hug, prayers, and love for Lyra. |
