Want escape from routine?
hear calls of exotic emerald coasts?
you wouldn't want to know annoyance yet
on a cruise to the orient
silently chained to one another
oh, the shackles of post-nuptual bonds
as the sea rolls beneath discontented hearts
and upset stomachs
it's called escape to a 'holiday in the sun'
can't happen on land..nothing like 'la marea'
the salty breeze and distant shorebird calls
complain into the wind
and you, unresourceful, exercise restraint
you know loss of balance..feel faint?
opted for Russian version of melancholic blues..
the mind's eye plots a discontented course
an upset venues line banistered decks
complete with merchant marine flags
couples throng caught in nuptual snags
expect to find solutions to undo binds
annoyed, thoroughly annoyed at the local find.

Frustrated? used to peddle familiar treadmills
you know to work off the unpleasant buldge
ate chocolate between meals...indulged
you could have escaped from the routine
escape from greasy spoon restos...
special plate of the week..poutine
reposed on cruises set for seven seas
and opt for seafarer's discontent..
something to do with food, the drink
wouldn't be your 'closest company you think?
complete with dresser drawer clothe collections
pessimistic about personal appearances...
strapped onto conventional modes;
patience amiss...is strapped in overload
black cats preceeded your every foot on land
now on board ship where does your heart stand?
annoyed, annoyed at the presence of unwanted fat
or the conventional roll of sea
back and forth, 'ad nauseum' like that
frustrated 'cause routine hitched you
by definition of repeated thriller episodes
by definition of wrongly invested time....

want to escape from the routine of being discontent?

I am glad there is something for you to
'bite' on...must say I've been reading a bio
on Hitchcock...who we all know had terrific insight into discontented hearts

Passing Shadows,

Makes you want to be on deck and observe the folly, doesn't it?
