Tell me you still remember
Life before
We grew too old
Sitting on the backporch
Predicting love
With daisey petals
Crying on not
Proclaiming love
To some helpless soul
With a very bad written letter
Signed with half a dozen
X's and o's
In red magic marker.

Ohhhhh...my magic marker was always purple. To be able to go back to the innocence of those days.

I decided I had more to say-

Wouldn't it be great if when "he/she loves me" is the last petal that the person was contractual bond by it?? Chaos reigns..LOL
