All That Brine

It swiftly downs this page of blue.
Quickly fading out of view.
And our senses shed some tears
As it quickly disappears

How sad the feelings of our heart
This precious poem we would impart.
These feelings of a grieving soul
The missing of a hoped for goal

This living breathing passions site
This place you send your heart in write
The pain to summon all the words
This place to fly our freedom bird

I cannot speak for all that post
And since a member not the host
I empathize your loving thought
And cry with you for all the naught.

I’ll hold your hand if you hold mine
We’ll make an ocean of the brine.

Good morning, Mr. T.!

This is such a loving and compassionate piece of writing that most assuredly comes
straight from your heart. There is so much comfort in your caring words---not to mention that you imparted them in exceptionally fine poetic form! I too, extend my hand to you if ever you were to need comfort from this little "angel"...

Valentine hugs,
EA

(sigh) This reminded me ever so much of the Bedknobs and Broomsticks song "The Beautiful Briny" and just had me wishing I could live down there and dance with the mermaids! (big hugggsssssss) I love this, sweet friend, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I need new glasses.
I misread brine the first time.
I substituted brain.
LOL, the poem was still quite interesting, if a bit confusing.
