Sharing well… Wishing one’s self away for a weekend… with people who know you, people who, for intelligent they are, philosophize in ways that are bent on legalities, and then fun, that is when you redirect your wishes, for quieter moments where thoughts, ever pervasive, are in your readings… shhhh…. I spent a weekend away from poet friends, and, I missed you… there are so many of us…and I drew a parallel… there were so many friends with me this weekend, philosophizing in ways that are bent… on legalities… and then fun… but none of them… not a one, spoke like me. Or speak to me, as you do… nor will they ever speak like me, however, they ask… how’s it going? How’s the book coming… how’s your poetry site… Oh yes, oh yes, I can converse like them and, we commiserate, we do that, we do! I enjoy my time with them so… however… this is where my ellipses makes sense, my emotions take rise, the tremble in my voice, were you to hear it… you would perceive it with its’ trembling… and me? I missed you… O, I missed you so much…. The real world is there… with your friends… the real world is here… with your friends… my here friends never knew how much I was missing my there friends… Share…. share well, all that you do. |

I was at the doctors office the other day and he commented...you express yourself so articulately...you choose your words well, I should write some of your analogies down. Then he said...Do you keep a journal, I would love to read it. He aint got that much time...LOL and..I was talking to a poet friend on phone, and she said..did you notice that the last few things you said rhymed. Oh well....poetry happends  Lawyers or poets? It's an easy choice isn't it poetess Sun.  |
