I’m going into mechanical mode
Before I either die or I explode
And there I’ll notice not a thing
No death no life, nor questioning.

Too many tears, too little time
He’s taken from us, like a crime.
Plug is pulled from life support
The life he lived was much too short.

He is sent to heaven’s sky
And we’re left down on earth to cry.

Please pray for this family. This was my very best friend's dad, she's fifteen; they were very close. He'll be leaving a wife and two children, a mom and dad, and many many friends. The plug is probably being pulled shortly after 11 PST, Feb 8

But his family must surely know that God's will be done in heaven as it is on earth.

Prayers for you in your sorrow~

thank you each...
and yes, God's will be done. Just sometimes that doesn't help you understand any more.
I appreciate you for the prayers, and I know they especially do.

Always

Alyssa,
How tragic. My prayer is for peace and courage for them all.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Alyssa,

Prayers here for them for courage and perseverance as they go through this grief, and prayers of thanks that she has you as a friend; may you be guided in wisdom and extra love as you reach out to all of them. Peace be with you.

Hugs and love, Pat

This is something that is such a wonderful read, yet at the same time its not.

Great write, horrible situation.

This is so beautiful GG. I know how this feels. I recently lost my mother who had just turned 48 two months before she passed. She passed in July. It's such a hard time for one to lose a parent regardless of how old we are. Thank you and I will pray for them.

Dear, your heart and compassion are beautiful and even more so, these two years later.  I hope the family has been able to get through the difficult times, with your presence.

Sunshine,
thanks for the reply... in reality her and I have lost contact for the most part. Chose different paths I guess. But we'll always be connected by grief, we were there for eachother in each of our losses. And I still pray for her, constantly, daily, nightly... and I know we'd be there for eachother if the need ever came to be again. Her and her family are pulling through, struggling, but who wouldn't? They're strong people, but death is one of those things that is about far more than strength. It's more like losing a limb, and you have to learn to adapt... but things are never right again. Never. Sorry, I just keep going on and on, and here in the archives probably talking to myself! But anyone who does read this, please keep praying for them... and thank you for taking the time.

God bless...

Hey, Alyssa....you aren't talking to yourself.  When I clicked on this post...I wasn't even aware that I was reading a archive.  LOL  So I started praying as if it were happening today, but now that I know that he is safe in our Fathers arms...I will pray for the peace, comfort, strength and hope that only He can bring!

God bless, m'friend!

Hugs...Becka
