If once to traipse the soft of warming flesh
and grasp the soul in trembling longing sigh.
As whispers fall upon soft ears caress
from nightly dreams of linger moments nigh.

This wine, the sip of which brings forth a yearn
from tendrils green of vine in vintage wait.
A spark of eyes from waited moment’s turn
as lovers touch the threshold’s fated gate.

But for the span of miles to bridge the way
and keep a love from sipping of the vine.
Two minds will dream of yet to be the day
wherein two tongues do whisper Valentine.

As vines do climb into the clouded skies
two leaves shall furl, recalling lover’s sighs.

Magnus, You have taken my breath away with a lover's sigh. How beautifully you compose a sonnet. I wish I could write like this
Thank you

(sigh) This is lovely, sweet friend, so that is why the vines always climb the walls of those marble and alabaster walls, I knew the romance still blooms in the garden of Versailles and the flowerbeds of Florence! (big hugggsssssss) Marvelous, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
