I don't sleep anymore
for nightmares
once locked in frightful dream
now roam my waking hours

Every creak
groan of the old wood
under my bed
or the shrill passing through the shutters
as slurred whisper
I can feel hands
or claws on my neck
and all most feel hot
brimstone on my face

I close my eyes
and find them gone
was it all but a dream
which I would too believe
save the green candles
burning around my bed
and the petagram carved
above my head

Then I hear the rainbow connection
played backwards
and I know the satanic kermits
have come for me
oh dear
and me without my
sacred rubber ducky.

LOL at your rubber ducky and green candles. Maybe you need a different color/scent of candle and a huggy bunny?
I enjoyed this, but maybe at your expense?

The candle color of the day seems to be orange. I think I'll go check underneath the bed again.
BTW, did you really mean to say 'petagram' or 'pentagram.'
LOL, I'd prefer a petagram any day.
