Cornered

It's no fun being cornered
and having over 200 feet to care for.
When that state road crew comes by
and decides to plow you under
over and over again, and they smile
such broad grins
I like to dare them,
stand there and wait to see
if I will be covered in their dirty thoughts.

~~*~~

Some day I will put spikes
on the edge of my walk under the snow
and laugh when I see their tires go flat
and they are both startled and stranded.
Someday I will stop them
in the middle of the road
and give them a piece of my mind...
24 years of this...
I think someday
is just around the corner.

LOL and yet angry with you on this one.
How many times in Alaska did I have to shovel out the end of my driveway to get onto the highway? About three times a week in the winter! Funny, they always said they'd be back in a few minutes, but minutes sometimes became hours.
But spikes? Naw, you'd just get stuck with another tire bill and court fees. But I'll come and help you if you really decide to go for it!

Nah, I am too sweet, I would never do it, but the thoughts that my mind conjures up at least allows me to visualize it happening *s thank you both...

Thanks Ericc *s

Hey there "Deer",  I don't think anyone ever wants to get on my bad side. Over the years it has developed enough to even scare me sometimes...I was actually thinking
Snow (E)VENT  but it works either way.

Some times I am clever, most often not.
Thank you

Sounds like your really ticked off.  Don't live in snow country out here but I guess I can almost sense what you're feeling.  I like gutsy ladies.  Keep it up!  Barb
