Suffocation

1)
Winds of hurt
Ravaging my heart
Tears too dry to cry
For the moisture
Evaporated long ago

Cracks in this stoneface
Of poetic pride’s
Stagnant surface
Need to get out
Of this crawlspace
To fly free

A blue open sky
Now dreams my fate
A landscape so free
That migraine’s flee
Releasing me unconditionally
From my imprisoned state

Here my words can echo
Into canyons of gold
For they will never get old
They may quake in the cold
But still warm nature’s heart

In an open universe
That blankets the thoughts
Cuddling as mother earth
Leaving the afterbirth
Of restricted society behind

2)
Morality can not be legislated
Politicians can not tell me
What to have in my own home
Or on porches of rocking chairs
Where age is more about
Common sense
That by the age of consent

Where hypocrites of education
Feed conformity into their
Pocketbooks of deceit
Saying what is good
For the community
By destroying a university Strip

In strength to take it over
They will then receive
The rent from loyal followers
In a forced occupation
Dorms will be full
In order to get an education

In a plan of attack
They are the military force
Of total occupation
For in small pieces
They will dictate
To a community
Their wishes

3)
In a few months
This town will be history
As my business lease
Expires into failed dreams
My words of faith
Will be echoed from afar

Good bye T Town
It has been an experience
To talk about
For the countdown is on
For then I can dream again

U of A you can speed it up
By buying the rest of my lease
But I am sure
You want me to suffer

Thought: In controlling something you may suffocate it, for is it not better to teach things in love than to imprison it.

Thought: It is strange of my feelings here in T Town and the love I have for it but being put into a vise you must move on and seek release. I would love this town so much more if the university here was more for getting an education than padding their pocketbooks. In order to be an educator you have to have a free spirit so in my class of limited readers, I have to move on. So I will leave with my tail between my legs but will waggle it later.

Indeed - They can take just about everything from you.. But NOT your ability to waggle... You've many wise words here.. and lots of good imagery, btw...
