What’s the point in Valentines
If nobody cares
It’s just there to remind you
That when you go home
There’s still nobody there

And what’s the point in smiling
When things go from bad to worse
You lose someone you care for
You can’t bear to see their hearse

And what’s the point in laughing
If it’s followed by a tear
You go out for a good time
But then end up nowhere near

And what’s the point in Christmas
If your presents are no good
And your family hate each other
You end up misunderstood

And what’s the point in Monday
If last week was so bad
You’re only going to end up
Like last week, sad

You know the point in Valentines
It’s there to make you think
And watch other people have a good time
While you sit, ponder and drink.

it's a Hallmark Holiday, nothing more, love should be expressed every day. this is very sad...

I told my boyfriend to give me expressions of his love any other day except for Valentine's Day. Why should there be a day? Poo-poo.
