You parted my lips and went beyond my smile
where you laid behind eyes
tasting the salt in my tears
you reached my heart and have seen my soul bare
without changing the mold.

Melding your hands along the curves
you have had me at your mercy
pressing against the edges to fit my ill form
when the weight of the world is more than I can take
shaping my vision with your insight.

Embracing the complexity
and the context of my chemistry
interwoven in the mystery
stabilized in fahrenheit
tempering the elements surrounding my life.

You are the die, cast in a smokey haze
brushing fingertips touch
a smooth glaze of gaze
glossing over the finish
that leaves a burning sensation
sparked by the fiery flames.

What an awesome line. And an even better poem. Packaged with much truth, except for the "ill form" part!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

(smiles) Oh Lori, you truly are a glass blower of precious words, sweet friend, from tears we can always make porcelain, that is in my mind real poetic justice! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lori, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
