shuffle the cards
lay them out
win or lose
i place my bet to win everything
or nothing at all
and if i lose, walk away
from the table
empty

is there another way to play this game?
perhaps its time to make some changes
different table
different players
maybe the cards will fall in my direction

having it all should not be wagered
on a turn of the cards dealt out by fate
while passively i let chance rule my life

i'll choose my game
i'll make my fate
and i'll win something
and never settle
for nothing at all

I'm not a gambling woman, but I enjoyed the poem...the deeper meaning I got from it...yeah...sometimes you just gotta throw it all out there and see what happens.
