The pain is so bad
when someone trusted that much
made my trust crumble

Especially when
the reason for broken trust
causes my  CHILD  pain

if you let it.. the broken trust can ruin a lifetime, it hurts so much.
It certainly scars for life.

Its so hard to ~learn to~ trust and love again.
Painful and I hope you are doing ok.

GG,
Yeah, I'm okay. Just trying to write a
little something of the pain caused by someone
years ago....way before I ever met my Gary.
But, it did make it very hard to trust like that
again. I'm so thankful that Gary is so patient
with me...and has been patient with me for years.
Thank you for replying...

Indeed... Our children shouldn't suffer from the inconsiderations of their parents... Been there... It's not a nice feeling...

Ethel, this is good---keep pouring out the pains of the past so that their shadows don't cloud the days of your present.

Oh Ethel, Gosh, can I ever relate to these words. My friend, I almost choked on them when I read them; wanting so much to make them my own. Sadly, my broken trust is many of the priests and hierarchy of the Catholic Church.

It is good to get this all out ...

Ethel, I understand how hard it is to trust someone. I lost my trust in everyone, when I was very young. And, it has been so hard for me to trust anyone. My husband was the first man I ever fully trusted. He really hurt me alot. Now, I find myself wondering, if I will ever be able to trust again. I am so sorry you had to go through this too. Big my friend.

Ethel,
poignant words here. A pity that trust is such an intangible commodity that you only know you have given it to someone when s/he betrays your trust

Garysgirl, I enjoyed the read.

Pain heals with times grace
We can smile when a new day breaks
Tomorrows bring hope

For the child we feel
Let nothing harm the children
They are our future

Take care and keep on writing!!

Sincerely
Rick
