Skim over embroidered words
that make their mark
should not be overlooked
I miss your eyes when you say them.

And longing for gaze of mine
across library
you stare through each book cover on the shelf
are my words of comfort near?

Flicking through my minds pages
revising your face
I know you off by heart and soul
so restless for the end of bookmarked separation.

learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.

Lots of nice visuals in this piece--
"skim over embroidered words"
a very tactile reference that I loved.

I thought the bookmark imagery effective too.

Enjoyed the read.

(sigh) Yes!!! Sometimes having someone be your bookmark can be comforting, other times it is like looking at Mona Lisa on the gallery wall and getting nausea feeling that eerie stare! (big hugggsssssss) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Gemma, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
