Foot Steps From The Past By Paul Wilson Years measure each step we travel re-living past of where we’ve been Thoughts from the past we unravel threads of memories from within Foot steps in our mind show the way back to years we lived long ago Hurry now we must not delay past rushes back like tidal flow Each memory measured by time that now too quickly fades away Exploring the past in our mind as we return to yesterday Clock on wall marks passage of time as our memories come and go Tomorrow again clock will chime and memories again will flow All our yesterdays are long gone our tomorrows are yet to be New memories arrive with dawn as foot steps from the past guide me "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" |
