Late Night Blue Page Behavior

Too tired to post their thoughts,
This hour of night they just want to read.
So they sit and stare at the board
Waiting for somebody to finally post.

A standoff at the old blue walls,
I’ll not hit my key to post
You hit yours first
I just want to read.

So there they sit
All thirty facing their screens,
Nothing happening at all,
They’re all too tired to post!

Refresh again the count is the same,
Refresh once more a stand off it is.
Refresh, refresh no one will concede,
They're all too tired to post, why not go to bed.

LOL, I've hung around here at night enough I've seen that scene, been one of those blue gazers.

A great way to play catch-up on reading so many wonderful poems.

And, yes....sometimes too tired to form the words for a reply to a poem that would remotely do it justice...
