I wore my Jesus shirt
‘Cause I like it
Thought I’d testify
Share about the Love of
My Savior, Jesus, Cool Guy.

And it was cold and stuffy
Rancid halls still in motion
Walls once white were smeared
By your vulgarity.
Its rebellion, for some clarity.

It’s the same game,
We want the grade.
Sit for hours, take some notes
Goofin’ off, we’re telling jokes.

But walkin’ in that hallway
You don’t think about it…
Never will.
Still wearin’ My Jesus Tee,
Walkin’ there, my God and me.

And, you come, you make a noise.
I turn around, display of boys…
Mocking love, sincerity,
Its another parody.
You say His name all the time,
But do you mean what you say?
It’s all in vain, don’t come my way
With that.

I’ll still talk to you,
In those cold halls,
Locker stuffed, and hidden guys
Kissin’ girls
Its all insanity,
My peace is trustin’ God for my security

Unruly teens
The bell is ringing
Run for class,
Its time to sleep.

(strange, I know.. lol)

- And so it was that time stood still -
     (blink, breathe, stand, fight)

ALyssa,

Not strange at all. That is a powerful faith you have there. My best friend sent me a Jesus (Bright Red!) sweatshirt once and I cannot wear it in public....I wear it to bed, though! ~He~ understands....and more power to you....

I liked the description of the hallway and the various kids....tho. long ago, did bring back memories...

Hugs, Pat

Alyssa,
Well now, I like a person with an independent streak! PTL for people like you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Pat,
Thank you ..I suppose my faith's gotta be somewhat strong, I need to breathe. But it can get stronger. The shirt I got I like alot... I can understand about yours, and yes I know He does too! And yes about those halls.. nasty place!
Hugs and love to you.

Larry,
Not sure if its independance, just a dependance on Someone else Thanks much for your reply.

Ericc,
way back to them highschool memories huh? I'm sure it wasn't too long ago!
Thanks for the reply.

Dear Ballad ..err, however that works
thank you! I'm glad you find it refreshing.

Take care everyone...
Always, Alyssa

An unfortunate reality well displayed.  I may not wear the same shirt, but I respect the design.  Keep on keepin' on...  Enjoyed the style and your words.  Peace!

Alyssa, I like this a lot. It's really good to see someone stand up for Jesus......especially in school. That's really great.......

Amdrew,
thank you! and thank you for the respect too I'll keep on and you do the same sir!

Sun of Faith,
passion is the essense and pain of life, and faith.. it is what holds us together by threads of sanity. I just know the One my faith is in gives me hope and life. I pray the same hope for all. Thank you much!

Ethel,
If not there then where? Thanks for your reply! appreciated.

Dixie,
I'm glad you do! thanks muchly Ma'am.

Always, Alyssa
