Where forth the night in cadence call
With silent rushes of wind and sound
Softness of wave lap or misty rainfall
To make one think of hallowed ground

Beyond the sight of darkness hold
Images move in beyond the pale
In cadenced dance both timid and bold
Til the sounds of night concert in sail

Teaching the lesson of now to then
Or from the past hidden in shadowed world
Bringing forth the time of past time when
Gusted in mists, curling and swirled

Lessons be learned with new ones taught
For past to future is only a leap
To lift the thoughts to ones so sought
From rise of sun to nights slow creep

For as the night will promise the dawn
With sunwashed days to light the within
To bring new worlds in silent spawn
From old to new in gentle begin

(big hugggssssssss) And it will always be thus! (sigh) This is wonderfully wise, sweet friend, take the nights word for it and tell the dawn all about it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Logan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I hear the voices, begin, again
as volumes fill the book of time,
and be it known if but to you,
the passages are still in rhyme...

Possibly the best of your work I've read yet, Logan, hon.

Sad, but with hope in the end.

Hope you are well!

This is a beautiful poem. I love the first stanza, especially.

Enjoyed greatly, Pat
