I could have reached
and touched
that perfect gold coin
suspended
in the black sky night--
it slid down frozen limbs
in a slow drip
of endless reflections--and,
when I looked there,
all I could see
was you..all I see
is you

it was fitting, somehow,
that North and South should meet
beneath a moon,
full and gold--
dancing on the stairsteps
of where you began,
where we began--
and now,
our fingers
can stir those reflections
oh so selfishly,
they belong to us

shall I tell you all?

shall I melt into you
like the gold of a fragile moon
falling from the sky?

ah, my North,
do you know how much I love you?
do you know
I could die in your arms
and live forever?
I could,
I will--

so hold me close,
and I will hold you,
while we count seasons
and
gather sun
from all our
tomorrow moons

"And it was at that age...Poetry arrived in search of me...And something started in my soul."
Pablo Neruda

Shall I melt into you?

Well not me, but darn if the guy reading this isn't say, "yep, yep!"

Love your signature too

Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky.
We fell them down and turn them into paper that
we may record our emptiness.
