Serpentine

Serpentine the shadows snake
Raking through a sensual wake.
Fixing, dancing, sparking light
Lighting magic in the night.

A pair of lovers blooms in rhyme
Open hearts at vespers time
Warm within their velvet glove
Kissing kisses of in love.

Oblivious the world that be
Amorous reality.
Living captives of the dawn
Crystal droplets to be born

Within this lace eternity
They weave their threads of ecstasy
The phantom knight and maiden fair
Living in a world of care.

God grant their sail upon this sea
And spare them life’s reality.

Lovely, lovely! It could be a poem/prayer for newlyweds. Enjoyed the consistent rhythm/rhyme, impeccably written.

AWWWW, Mr. Seymour.... I like your picture of romance you painted this morning with your words. Reminds me of my Love, of course.
