pay attention
this is the path
on each side is danger
follow carefully

you might notice the smell of cinnamon
and excrement
at times it will be hard to tell which is which
don't let such things distract you

try this on
it's a coping device
it will allow you to get past obstacles
such as loneliness and frustration

my parents gave it to me
I have tried to improve upon it somewhat

at first, you will notice that I become continually larger
filling up a substantial portion of your view

after a few years, I will grow so small as to be insignificant

then, perhaps after I am no longer with you
I will become large again

don't let this trouble you at this point
it is simply a paradox of this place

for now I will guide both of us
later, I will fall back and you will
move on alone

you might notice, far up ahead
on the mountain
is a single silver light

no matter what happens
keep moving toward it

any questions?
good; take my hand

I've read this three times, and just don't know the correct way to reply to it. I love it. Thats all I can really say. A very interesting take on a father's veiw and guidance.

I love this, too, and I fully understand this. It's really beautiful, the way you put it into words....

Though probably not intended this makes me grin......perhaps, in the reality of it....the sureness...

I like it a great deal.

Reminds me of someone I know.
