somebody's dungeon

I know he didn't like it
but I did it all the same,
he deserved it really
so I did it without shame.

He's bitten me before
drawn blood with his teeth,
he's forever attacking
and scratching my bare feet.

I'd had enough I tell you
that black cat was now mine.
I'd show him I meant business
he would pay this time.

So I stripped him of his color
then I dyed the brute blue,
that's right, I did it,
believe me you would too.

Then I placed him on the bed
with a toy here and there
and last but not least
I perched a little teddy bear,
right there on his tummy
then I took the picture quick
it's Inky Dink in blue
don't worry, it's just a trick.

He's really not blue,
no way, no how,
he's still black and mean
but more aesthetic somehow.

If this isn't the cutest verse I dont know what is.  It shows so much revengeful excitement.

Great poem, It was really a nice read~!

So funny Anne...I have an all white cat...will keep her that way. But I will tell you something funny. It was my husband's(the one in the barn)birthday and I didn't want to get him a card that had any meaning..so I found one  by a cat to it's owner...and I wanted to put her paw print on it and dipped her paw into spaghetti sauce since I wouldn't use ink and  turn her paw black..she ran away and the only prints I got were on my floor *s.

Silent~Inspiration, Thanks so much for commenting. I would like to seek vengeance against the beast, but it's Mom's cat, so I don't dare. Glad you enjoyed

M,

Cats are so funny. They are moody and mean one minute, and the next they are licking your face or purring in your ear. Well, not this beast, the only time he licks you is to make sure the spot is clean before he bites you. Thanks for commenting

WhiteRose - what a nice read, had a cat like that also, kept the mice away from the house though...

*giggles* Meany. That reminds me of when I was a little kid and we dressed our dog up like a clown. I have a picture of that too. :-D
