Heart rending,
waves crashing,
torn smashed,
emotions in turmoil,
dreams shattered by the rocks,
dragged under by the currents,
hopes dashed as
tides lash
the shore that once was.
Feelings drowning,
water pounding,
cascading flooding,
mind in disorder,
soul hurled upon the breaking waves,
tormented and tortured,
desires driven deep as
eddys swirl around
paradise that once was.
Alone sinking,
burdened by thought,
Why? Why? Why?
is the cry!
but no answer
for true love is lost.
