I Still Remember

I stand on my own
For what I believe is right
Along with sadness

Sometimes I miss him
Other times I am so glad
I am not with him

The heartache I feel
I carry inside of me
Thinking about him

Even though I know
My life is so much better
Living without him

If only I could
Erase all the memories
I would not feel sad

I still remember
All the good times we did have
When our love was new
