scattered along
the ocean's edge,
her many treasured shells,

fallen beneath
the reach of the tree,
her long ago nurtured leaves,

bursting through,
the womb of the clouds,
her labor of gathered tears,

resonating beyond,
this star-crossed love,
my undying faith in you

Michele, this is really pretty. I like the way you did it,
and I like the thought of "undying faith" in someone...

Love the calm in this Michele...
I could almost picture camping out at the beach
and  sleeping under the stars,
the last verse sewed it up nicely.

It is nice to be able to have this kind of faith in someone.

This was nice Michele....but who do you have undying faith in, besides yourself. I can tell you are getting stronger!

It is sooo cold again here today, with another dusting of snow...and I am sure not much better there.

love the imagery and nature analogies you used to define the emotions.
well done poetess Inked

Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky.
We fell them down and turn them into paper that
we may record our emptiness.
