Funny what difference the sunhine can make
With the rain comes a day dark and gloomy
On waking, my attitude just seems to take
A negative stance all-consuming...

The rain on the glass pours straight down in a sheet
Enveloping all in it's flowing
It's destiny met and it's task is complete
Discontent is the seed it is sowing...

My energy's gone, and instead in it's wake
The doldrums have spawned and they're creeping
I now close my eyes for a short well-earned break
Today is a good day for sleeping!

A truly happy person is one who
can enjoy the scenery on a detour!

Hey Sunny

It's not freezing there, is it? I think you said how cold it was
when you replied to a poem of mine, but I can't remember how cold
you said. If it is, ya'll are going to have some icicles.

Oh, I like your poem, as always...

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Sunnyone, I believe Van Morrison is right when he sung "Momma said there'd be days like this!" but know the sun is always bound to shine the next day! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, I send angel hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sunnyone, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

It's also a day for cuddling up with a good book. Hugs, Sunny, love seeing you here.

the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

Some time when I go sailing I am besieged with a doldrum.I just lie back and enjoy the play of the sea and the sky.Soon the wind picks up,my sails billow and I'm off again.
