I have a hope chest
Full of feelings
They tend to get me in trouble
When I let them out
So for now I will lock it up
The feeling in there
Can no longer get out
And in the process
No new ones will be coming in

made me sigh.
Somehow the pain always finds it way in,
And so do a few laughs and smiles.
Though blocking and closing doors seems best..
it hurts even more.
