In a legal defense
Of your exquisite beauty
I plead guilty
To the mental duress
That made me
A slave to your charms

So judge me
In all your legal proceedings
Sentencing me
To the pleasure
Of your dynamic presence

In a life sentence
Of a life imprisonment
In such caresses
So legally binding

That I again plead guilty
In the special proceedings
That binds me to you
Till the end of time

D. Lester Young,

I enjoy your poetry much, but, I am perplexed that I never see you respond to others poetry on this site. If not mine, that is okay, for I am a novice, but, there are excellent pieces here that are priceless. Why do we never hear your applause?

Sincerely, Pat

You are right I should reply more. Some of it is due to my bad manners I suppose. My only redemption is that I have seeking a voice within myself while working on one job and trying to take care off a failing business at the same time. My writing is so intense that it absorbes my free time. I write constantly with the free time I have. My brothers illness is taking its toll on me in that life seems so much more shorter.

So you see in all the excuses, I really do not have one. I will try to do better and post less.

In all the frustration of my own writing, the release of the mental stress takes me into a natural high, until I start the next word recycling my mood swings.
