Oh hear the sweet sounds of the sirens song.
I do try to resist, but oh how I long.
To touch the lips that make the beautiful sound.
So I jump into the water and do drown.

One more temptation I couldn't get past.
One more fixation that wouldn't last.

It felt like Medusa did turn my heart to stone.
The moment I realized you where gone.
I watched as you walked slowly away.
Even Aphrodite couldn’t make you stay.

One more love lost in times sand.
You gave me the reasons, still I don’t understand.

I drank with Odin to clear my head.
He convinced me to go hunting instead.
I told him a story of a heart so true.
Tears fell from his eyes it made him so blue.

One more day with you on my mind.
The cure for this heartache I’m trying to find.

Hades replaced my love with hate.
As I stood at the Underworlds gate.
And cried tears of sorrow.
For my lost tomorrow .

One more day with you on my mind.
The cure for this heartache I’m trying to find.

Hades led me to the Elysian Fields.
There my heartache he did heal.
With the times that where grand in my days.
No longer do I miss the one who did betray.

One more day with you on my mind.
The cure for this heartache I did finally find.

Of all I've lost; I miss my innocence the most.

Great poem.

So how ya likin the passions?

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

well composed, good altering of long and shorter stanzas..does relate heartache pretty well..one correction though third stanza has walked repeated twice..welcome to Passions by the way
