Restless,
as the wind which carries its name
endlessly defending beside my soul
for each mood,
the walls are never the same
rules of engagement
my Gaurdian,
Roue

High atop
of my charging emotions
fearful of making contact
cold as stones ...
until another's closeness fills oceans
which, in turn
feeds life to its hungry bones

With each tear,
each heart's pain, it grows in strength
readied for battle
iron clawed, spiked wings ...
so hear the Raven upon shoulder's length,
"Never more, ... never more"
it always sings

Again and again
each battle sets war
To reset my stone
then true love must soar

Fear is a blindness, heart is the cure.   -   C. Belville 02

You come up with the most fascinating lines,

"To reset my stone"

leaving so much to ponder~

A nice read from you Craig, as always~

ME~

I sing to life
To it's tragic beauty
To pain and strife
Let all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I lived through it all
