Oh,  how the pen yearns
to write
but the words   come not.

This muse does not feel
the light that was once warmed
by the soul        of a poet.

The rhymes are no longer written
divine
for the quill
has not tasted
the ink for a very long time.

Oh! My dear poet.
Please seek me soon
so that I might not fade
onto wordless pages.....

I must have had my momma's will
and Gods Amazing Grace...

I'm a survivor....
(Reba)

The poet and the muse
shall meet again, soon...
methinks neither
are too far from one another...

wordless pages
do not hold the colors of you
and rich hues of what is inside
are still to be spread with strokes
both bold and timid
on this canvas

Your words will come..and your muse..will demand of you one day...write...write this or go mad trying...you have been idle too long.

go kick her in the butt... and call her names... heck... get her drunk if you have to..but make her talk to you..
