I kissed the wind
But it passed me by
I held it in my arms
and whispered words of love
yet it would not stay

it just picked up
And just flew away

I know it is foolish
to love the wind
For the wind does not stay

It just picks up
It just flys away

Take a good look at my face
Well, don't my smile look out of  place
look a little closer its easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

this is bittersweet
and beautiful...

I see hope ..and pain.
Enjoyed, you certainly have a way with words; a good way
Always, Alyssa

yes..this is a bittersweet beauty Poet Paul

we cant hold down the wind...nor hold back the tides...but in the same way we can not control natures course...we cant stop our hearts from falling and feeling the love.

would we have it any other way?
