I asked the question
at the begining of the summer
the answer was lost upon the wind

I asked again
as the leaves fell all around
and the stole the answer in the ground

I asked for a third
as the nights drew in cold
and the snows froze me and the answer whole

I shouted the question
To the new years thaw
and its spirit laughed The new born knew not

I knelt in despair
At turning of the year
The sun turned to me and smiled "The answer is Yes"

Take a good look at my face
Well, don't my smile look out of  place
look a little closer its easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

Wonderful, and I'm glad the answer was yes.
