Politicians trade blood for oil No one cares Nelly is on the telly Popular music ensnares Somewhere a kid is plotting a shooting spree No one is aware His parents are watching Joe Millionaire Too entertained to care War is on the horizon But we're prepared American economy is plummeting Beyond repair Drunk driving kills thousands every year Everyone's aware Smoking Marijuana is evil Tree-hugers with long hair This insanity is too much for me to bare How can children suffer and die And people not care? Wear your jewelry and dance in Times Square Why sweat the little things When God answers your prayers. Take hope here War is elsewhere Everyone else is just jealous All of Iraq is evil They want our Puff Daddy CDs They want our BMWs They want our Jennifer Lopez They want the ice on our wrists They want our televisions They want our white-picket fences They want our microwave ovens They want our children as slaves They want to bed our wives They want our playstations They want to be like Mike They want to play basketball for the Lakers They want our heads on stakes They want us dead Lets bomb their people And force innocents to despair The red, white, and blue flies high above So no one cares |
