Listening to every heart

Take one Curl

Take one last curl of mine
Oh love,
Take one last curl of mine

Take heart in all we held
My dear
Take heart in its entwine

Bid me well on my adieu
Bid fond
Fare well, my dear

Say goodbye to our
Sweet love, my dear,
Take one last curl of mine.

Tender comes to my mind as well.. very sincere.. the thoughts and emotions that come with time and experience, yet combining with the sentiment and unfearing intimacy of a child.. "take one curl"

'curl' could be so many things... and in that, so many could relate. like how you did that.

Karilea, for some reason this one made me think of a song to a little Irish jig....I love those. I could almost see the Lads and Lasses dancing sround...

very emotion-filled, a tender plea

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Very sad, Karilea. This reminded me of saying goodbye to a loved one at their funeral.

Karilea--I can see this coming to you on yellowed paper, from some time long ago when a curl of hair would be treasured in jewelry.  Lovely, yet sad with some kind of parting.
